Han sido aprobadas por la Junta de Gobierno del 30 de enero de 2019 las Listas definitivas de Peritos para la designación de peritos arquitectos durante el 2019. Las personas interesadas podrán interponer contra la aprobación los recursos previstos en el artículo 97 de los Estatutos Colegiales.

Barcelona aspira a convertirse en Ciudad Mundial de la Arquitectura, según la declaración institucional que aprovó el Ayuntamiento de Barcelona el pasado viernes 25 de enero. La inciativa, que se aprovo por unanimidad, contará con la colaboración del COAC.

La Bolsa de Trabajo ha cerrado el 2018 con una cifra récord de ofertas de trabajo publicadas con un total de 3.499. Además, 666 arquitectos han encontrado trabajo desde principios de año gracias a la Bolsa de Trabajo del COAC.

The COAC has made proposals to the 'Modification of the General Metropolitan Plan to adjust the qualification of the section of Carrer Provença that coincides with the block on which the Sagrada Família stands' and to the 'Special Comprehensive Urban Plan for the Sagrada Família', approved by the Ecology, City Planning and Mobility Commission of Barcelona City Council and published in the BOPB of 17 December, 2018.

The Girona branch of the Architects’ Association of Catalonia (COAC) has convened the Architectural Awards of the Counties of Girona 2019, which this year is being held for the twenty-second time. The aim of the Awards is to give due recognition to architecture produced in the Girona region that demonstrates professional quality and precision.

A new issue of the COAC’s magazine Quaderns d'Arquitectura i Urbanisme has been published, which is now available to members at the various Association offices. This is issue number 271, entitled About Buildings & Food. Edited by the architect Xavier Monteys, the latest Quaderns looks at the relationship between food, architecture and the city.
