COAC

On June 17th the architecture firm Arquitectura-G, composed of Jonathan Arnabat, Jordi Ayala-Bril, Aitor Fuentes and Igor Urdampilleta, will deliver a lecture on their recent work at the COAC Auditorium.

Arquitectura-G has received the Emerging Architect Award at the XIV edition of the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award, in recognition of their work 'Casa Luz' in Cilleros (Cáceres, Spain)
Jenny B. Osuldsen, landscaper and founder of Snøhetta, will be delivering a lecture at the COAC on September 29th at 6.30 pm.

The lecture is part of the preparation events for the forthcoming International Biennial of Landscape, which will take place in September 2016. This lecture intends to become a meeting point for professionals and students related to landscape architecture, with the aim of discussing the motto and theme of the 9th Biennial.

El 26 de setembre, l'Agrupació d'Arquitectes per a la Defensa i la Intervenció del Patrimoni Arquitectònic (AADIPA) durà a terme una visita guiada per l'arquitectura tradicional de les Terres de l'Ebre, a càrrec de Pep Fortià, codirector del XXXVIIIè Curset. Jornades Internacionals sobre la Intervenció en el Patrimoni Arquitectònic; Carles Brull, membre de l’AADIPA; i Dídac Gordillo, vocal de l'AADIPA a les Terres de l’Ebre.
El proper dissabte 3 d'octubre a les 10 h tindrà lloc a Horta la jornada "Afectacions Urbanístiques i Patrimoni", organitzada per l’Agrupació d’Arquitectes per a la Defensa i la Intervenció en el Patrimoni Arquitectònic (AADIPA), l’Agrupació d’Arquitectes Urbanistes de Catalunya (AAUC), els Arquitectes d’Horta-Guinardó (AHG del COAC) i El POU (Grup d’Estudis de la Vall d’Horta i la Muntanya Pelada), amb la col•laboració de la Biblioteca Can Mariner.

The jury has chosen the finalists of the architectural contest for the new Camp Nou and the new Palau Blaugrana, who will now develop their proposals, during the second phase of the selection process. 

From among 45 proposals, 8 teams have been selected for the new Estadium and 6 for the new Palau Blaugrana. The selection has been based on the recommendations made by the technical committee, composed of seven members of FC Barcelona and two representatives of the COAC.
