Oscar Niemeyer. Poet of the curves
The exhibition includes 42+1 photographs taken by Eugeni Abella Asensio, captured during the years 2017, 2018 and 2022 at the Oscar Niemeyer International Cultural Center in the city of Avilés.
The images on display are an intentional and very personal view of the author with the aim of highlighting the splendid architecture that Niemeyer designed for Avilés, being the only work by the Brazilian architect that we can enjoy in the entire Spanish state.
On Thursday, February 2, there will be a conference with projections on the most emblematic architectural work of Oscar Niemeyer (1907-2012). The talk will be given by Pere Marsé Ferrer, architect.
