The European Commission and the Mies van der Rohe Foundation have announced the winners of the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture - Mies van der Rohe Award for 2022. The Lacol architects’ cooperative has been named as the winner in the Emerging Architecture category for its La Borda cooperative housing building in Barcelona.
The new document, entitled Nous aprenentatges, nous espais (New learning, new spaces), puts the educational project being implemented at a school or college at the heart of any corresponding construction or transformation project and stipulates the need for a collaborative process involving both the educational community and architects.
En el nuevo documento, "Nuevos aprendizajes, nuevos espacios", el punto de partida del proyecto de construcción o transformación de una escuela o instituto es el proyecto educativo del centro y se estipula un proceso de trabajo conjunto entre comunidad educativa y arquitectos. Este proceso prevé incluso un encuentro un año después del final de obra para evaluar si el edificio se ha adaptado a este proyecto pedagógico.
En el nou document, "Nous aprenentatges, nous espais", el punt de partida del projecte de construcció o transformació de l’escola o institut és el projecte educatiu del centre i s’estipula un procés de treball conjunt entre comunitat educativa i arquitectes. Aquest procés preveu, fins i tot, una trobada un any després del final d’obra per tal d’avaluar si l’edifici s’ha adaptat a aquest projecte pedagògic.

The Minister for Social Rights, Violant Cervera; the dean of the COAC, Assumpció Puig; the executive chairman of the Technical Architecture Council of Catalonia, Celestí Ventura, and the manager of the Barcelona-Lleida Association of Property Administrators, Lorenzo Viñas, have presented the new Building Rehabilitation Technical Offices (OTR).
Twenty-nine works selected by the COAC will represent Catalan architecture in the 1st ARQUITECTURA Awards, organised by the Consejo Superior de Colegios de Arquitectos de España (Higher Council of Architects’ Associations of Spain, CSCAE) with the official sponsorship of COMPAC.
