We will debate about the challenges and opportunities related to existing and emerging risks, both locally and regionally.

He recently received the New York State AIA President’s Award for Excellence in Non-Traditional Architecture. In 2003, Brown was named ACSA Distinguished Professor and Fellow of the American Institute of Architects and in 2007 he was awarded the prestigious AIA / ACSA Topaz Medallion for Excellence in Architectural Education. Brown is a member of the AIA NYC Board of Directors and co-chairman of the AIA Design for Risk and Reconstruction Committee, created in 2011. He is also a professor at the Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture, CUNY.
